Innovation is woven in Milan: Maglificio Maggia at Idea Biella for S/S 2027

16/01/2026

From January 20 to 22, we will be attending Idea Biella, at the beating heart of Milano Unica, to present a preview of our new Spring/Summer 2027 collection. Idea Biella has always embodied the most prestigious soul of the Milanese trade fair: an international benchmark for high-end tailoring, where the tradition of the Biella district meets the challenges of contemporary innovation.

The highlights of the S/S 2027 collection: between science and sartorial craft

For this season, our research has ventured into unprecedented material pairings, designed for a consumer seeking both distinction and performance. The true novelty of this year is the introduction of fabrics that blend cotton with fine steel filaments. The result is a technical yet surprisingly soft hand, capable of maintaining a naturally crinkled appearance that lends the garment a dynamic, contemporary elegance—perfect for those who appreciate a refined style that is never rigid.

We have reinterpreted the men’s formal suit through a noble blend of wool and mohair. This combination ensures a “cool hand” and ideal thermoregulation for the summer season, offering a perfect drape and a subtle sheen typical of the finest fibers. In addition, we have undertaken a thorough revision and expansion of our color offering, meticulously applied to each individual item.

The result is a richer, more versatile palette, designed to engage with international trends and enhance every type of weave.
