Innovation and Territory: The Slow Fiber Meeting in Turin

16/03/2026

On Wednesday, March 4th, we participated in the usual quarterly meeting of Slow Fiber, a fundamental moment to take stock of the textile sector together with partners and colleagues who share our same values. The assembly was hosted at the headquarters of Pattern S.p.A., an outstanding company that welcomed us into its cutting-edge facility dedicated to prototyping for the world's most prestigious luxury brands.

Guided by President Dario Casalini, Vice President Marco Bardelle, and Luca Sburlati (CEO of Pattern Group and President of Confindustria Moda), we experienced a day of deep discussion on how to protect and enhance Italian textiles.

Our community is expanding

For us at Maglificio Maggia, seeing the network expand is a sign of great hope.

During the assembly, after visiting Pattern's production departments, we welcomed 11 new member companies. This significant entry brings the total number of associates to 38, strengthening a business community determined to promote responsible production models.

Being part of Slow Fiber means supporting an approach based on essential pillars:

  • Good, Healthy, and Clean: for material quality and environmental respect.
  • Fair and Durable: to strongly oppose the logic of fast fashion and disposable products.

Support from the territory

At the conclusion of the proceedings, we had the pleasure of listening to the intervention of Elena Chiorino, Vice President of the Piedmont Region.

Her presence and constant support for the Slow Fiber project underline the importance of synergy between institutions and businesses to defend the quality of our supply chain.

We continue to work together to build a new textile culture, where product durability and transparency are the true values of the future.
