The Future of Made in Italy Lies in Talent: Giovanna Maggia Guest at Città Studi

08/04/2026

On the occasion of the first National Made in Italy Day, Biella reaffirms its leading role by celebrating the excellence and creativity of its textile district through a week of events dedicated to Italian craftsmanship.

Maglificio Maggia will take an active part in these celebrations on Monday, April 13, by participating in the convention “Sources of Talent.”

The event, which will be held at the Città Studi Auditorium in Biella from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, will feature a speech by Giovanna Maggia, CEO of our knitwear company.

A dialogue between business and new generations

The event, created through the collaboration between the Young Entrepreneurs Group of the Biella Industrial Union, GGi, and Mirantico, aims to build a concrete bridge between long-established manufacturing companies and high school students. During the morning, Giovanna Maggia will engage with young people on key topics for the evolution of the textile sector:

Talent and strategic development: how the energy and new skills of younger generations can become the driving force of innovation within companies that have shaped the history of Made in Italy.

Sustainability and resources: a discussion focused on environmental protection and ecological responsibility, culminating in the awarding of multimedia projects created by students on the themes of water and sustainability.

For our company, participating in this initiative represents a commitment to investing in the local area and its human capital.

Promoting Made in Italy means passing on the values, techniques, and passion that make Biella textiles unique in the world, inspiring those who will be called to lead this sector in the future.

We look forward to seeing you on Monday, April 13, at 10:30 AM, at Città Studi Biella.
