We are thrilled to invite you to a special event celebrating continuity, dialogue, and innovation at the heart of Biella’s textile tradition: "Threads and Notes Across Generations", part of the "Storie di Olly" series, curated and organized by the Fondazione Accademia Perosi.

Following the success of last year’s edition, this new gathering—open to the public—will take place on Tuesday, June 24 at 6:30 PM, in the stunning setting of Palazzo Gromo Losa.

This will be a unique opportunity to bring together the knowledge of different generations. Students of the esteemed Prof. Olga Barruscotto will engage in dialogue with young talents from the Biella textile sector, exchanging ideas and perspectives on the past, present, and most importantly, the future.

The discussion will revolve around three key pillars: technique, creativity, and beauty. We are especially proud to announce that Giovanna Maggia, partner at Maglificio Maggia and Co-Founder of Magnolab, will be among the distinguished guests, sharing her experience and vision.

She will be joined by other prominent figures from the industry: • Rossano Bisio, Textile Designer, consultant, and lecturer specialized in wool and noble fibers • Stefano Sanna, President of the GGI and Vice President of the Unione Industriale Biellese, expert in industry and finance • Filippo Uecher, Textile Designer and Founder of Filippo Uecher Collection.

The event, made possible with the valuable support of Fondazione Cassa Risparmio di Biella, will also feature an exceptional musical performance by the Scapola – Buonanoce Duo, with Andrea Scapola (violin) and Matteo Buonanoce (piano), performing works by K.
